Creativity has shaped every part of my life
For nearly three decades, I have worked as an Executive Creative Director, developing brand identities, campaigns and visual communication for international organisations, governments, municipalities and non-profit organisations.
As a graduated Graphic Designer with a First Degree Teaching Qualification in Drawing and Painting, education has always been part of my creative practice. Alongside my professional work and fine art practice, I share my experience with the next generation of creatives through guest lectures, masterclasses, portfolio reviews and creative mentoring.
Although these worlds may appear different, they all begin with the same belief:

I help organisations transform complex ideas into clear concepts, distinctive identities and meaningful visual communication.
From brand strategy and identity to campaigns, editorial design and digital communication, my work combines strategic thinking with a strong visual perspective and an intuitive understanding of people, stories and context.
I believe good design is not simply about making something look right.
It is about discovering what it needs to say, and finding the most powerful way to make people feel it.
Creative Education
After nearly three decades in professional creative practice, sharing knowledge has become a natural extension of my work.
As a qualified teacher in Drawing and Painting, I have taught visual arts in education and, throughout my career, have mentored and inspired emerging creatives.
Today I work with art and design academies through guest lectures, masterclasses, portfolio reviews and creative mentoring, bringing the realities of professional creative practice into the classroom.
My aim is not to teach a particular style, but to encourage independent thinking, curiosity, confidence and an authentic creative voice.
Fine Art
Alongside my professional work, I continue to develop my autonomous practice as an artist.
My work explores vulnerability, freedom, intuition and personal transformation through drawing, mixed media and gold leaf.
Where design asks me to solve a problem, art gives me the freedom to ask questions.
It is a more intuitive space, one where imperfection, emotion and discovery are part of the process.
For me, art and design are not separate worlds.
They continuously enrich one another.
From the Netherlands to Spain
After nearly three decades of running my own creative agencies in the Netherlands, I relocated to Spain.
Today I live and work from my studio in the Lecrín Valley near Granada, surrounded by the landscape, light and rhythm of southern Spain.
This new environment has brought a different perspective to my work, creating more space for intuition, reflection and experimentation while remaining connected to an international creative community.
From Spain, I continue to collaborate remotely with organisations, creative agencies and educational institutions across Europe.

Whether I am developing a brand, teaching a student or creating a work of art, I believe creativity begins with seeing differently.
With questioning what is expected.
With trusting intuition as well as intelligence.
And with creating something that connects on a human level.
