About

Creativity has shaped every stage of my life

Creativity has never been my profession. It is the way I observe, think and connect with the world around me.

As a graduated Graphic Designer with a First Degree Teaching Qualification in Drawing and Painting, I combine formal creative education with nearly three decades of international professional practice as an Executive Creative Director, Brand Identity Designer, Creative Educator and Fine Artist.

Whether I am developing an international brand identity, creating autonomous art or mentoring the next generation of creatives, I always begin in the same place: from the head into the heart.

Executive Creative Director

For nearly three decades I have worked as an Executive Creative Director and Brand Identity Designer, helping organisations transform complex challenges into meaningful brands, visual identities and strategic communication.

My work spans international NGOs, governments, municipalities, hospitality brands and corporate organisations. From global awareness campaigns to strategic rebranding projects, I believe that successful design begins long before the first sketch is made.

It begins with listening, observing and discovering the essence of a story.

Creative Mentor

Education has always been an integral part of my creative practice.

Through guest lectures, masterclasses, portfolio reviews and creative mentoring, I help students bridge the gap between education and professional practice.

Rather than teaching a personal style, I encourage independent thinking, curiosity and the confidence to develop an authentic creative voice.

All sessions are delivered in English and combine formal teacher training with international professional practice.

Living and Working in Spain

Today I live and work in the Lecrín Valley, near Granada in southern Spain.

The slower rhythm of life, the surrounding nature and the Mediterranean light have brought a new balance to my work. Living in Spain has strengthened my belief that creativity flourishes when there is space for both strategic thinking and intuition.

Working remotely allows me to collaborate internationally while remaining deeply connected to the environment that inspires both my design and my art.

My Philosophy

The creative industry is changing rapidly.

Artificial Intelligence will continue to transform the way we work, and I welcome it as a powerful creative tool. But technology alone cannot replace intuition, empathy or imagination.

Great ideas are not created by technology alone.

They are created by people.

Technology can accelerate the process.
Human creativity gives it meaning.

Fine Art

Alongside my work as a Creative Director, I have always continued drawing and painting.

My autonomous work explores vulnerability, freedom and the human experience through drawing, mixed media and gold leaf. Rather than solving problems, art allows me to ask questions, embrace imperfection and create space for reflection.

For me, design and art are not separate disciplines. Each discipline continuously enriches the other.

Throughout my career, I have taught in primary and secondary education, guest lectured at College and mentored emerging creatives, experiences that naturally led to my current collaborations with higher education and art and design academies.
